Cardiovascular Research Technologies annual symposium
The CRT Group Foundation, located on the campus of MedStar Washington Hospital Center, is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to providing educational services in the field of cardiology through its website and the Cardiovascular Research Technologies (CRT) annual symposium.
The symposium focuses on advances and changes in the field of cardiovascular medicine. It is designed to provide access to the world’s leading clinicians and the latest research to improve practice and treatment outcomes for a variety of healthcare professionals.

Residency and fellowship programs
We recognize the importance of training the next generation of medical professionals. In fact, MedStar Health is one of the largest providers of graduate medical education in the country, training on average 1,100 students and residents annually in more than 100 specialty and subspecialty programs.
As the medical education and clinical partner of Georgetown University School of Medicine, residents and fellows in a variety of cardiovascular-related programs enjoy extensive collaboration with community-based medical staff members in a rigorous academic environment.
